Just because I don’t have a “significant other” in my life
doesn’t mean I have nothing to live for.
I’m tired of all the emphasis on it.
There is so much more to the world.
I’d rather not get caught up in some pointless and constant
love-seeking mentality
where that is all I think about.
I’m tired of feeling like something is wrong with me
just because I haven’t found my “soul mate.”
I don’t want to buy into it all,
and I don’t want that to be the thing that I live for.
I live for myself, thanks.

Daydream, i dream of you beneath the flowers, for a couple of hours, on a beautiful day.
Anyways, I guess that was my mini rant for the day.

Now I have. As always I like the meaning to the poem. The wording is great too(as always).
